What's your favorite class and why?
“I choose my 2D Art class with Ms. Ramos. There’s a lot of creative freedom – it’s not as technical. No matter what strong suit you have when it comes to visual arts, it’s always a place where you can do whatever you need and still do an assignment correctly. Ms. Ramos is an amazing teacher and she’s very expressive, if you ever need to talk to her she’s very helpful. Whenever you need help with an assignment she’ll be right there in a second.”

“I’m studying for my captain's license. I work on my family's boat and I’m slowly building up my hours at sea. I know how to operate the boat, I’ve put some modifications into it too like a new GPS system and our new weighted tab system which helps keep the boat balanced if we have an uneven load. Maybe I'll do a summer internship on a research boat going to Alaska and work with a deckhand, it’s a good way to see the world, I definitely want to travel.”
